Attending a Retreat
What should I expect?
Participants are oriented the first evening as they arrive. Dinner is served at 6 pm, and tours are offered after dinner. The first session of the retreat begins at 7:30 pm that evening.
Participants awaken the next morning around 6:00 am, and begin the day with meditation. Those new to meditation receive meditation instruction.
Sunday follows the same general morning schedule, after which participants join the community for the Sunday Program (chanting, meditation, dharma talk and informal lunch) from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.
For more details see the Retreat Schedule
