Dating from the Heart
Dating can be a roller coaster ride. Your experience in a single date can be exciting, scary, vulnerable, fun, confusing, inspiring, frustrating, and disappointing. This dizzying range of emotions can have you trying to hang onto yourself with all your strength.
You find yourself looking for support and perhaps getting opinions and ideas of every sort, some helpful, some not so much. All the “dating advice” can be just as confusing as the dating itself. In the end, it is you who make the decisions and experience the results.
In this workshop, we help you develop the skills to stay true to yourself and access your own wisdom. Some of these skills include:
-Set boundaries with compassion and honesty
-Distinguish independent, co-dependent, and interdependent
-Speak and act from your authenticity
-Recognize and name obstacles to a healthy interdependent relationship in you and your dating partner
-Ask for what you need and recognize your dating partner’s needs
All classes 4-6pm at Heart of Wisdom Zen Temple.
