A collection of new residents and guests. From left to right: Romy Senderos staying at Great Vow for 1 month, Evan staying for 3 months, Erin Gillis helping in the kitchen through the Endless River sesshin, Deston Denniston staying for 7 weeks, Bob Rotsded here for 2 days, Wynn Curtis helping supervise off and on through the summer, and Joe McGiven here for 2 days. All of them are helping with the roof and floor, either directly, or by working in other areas of the monastery to support the project.

On Wednsday the 12th it rained fairly heavily, but the roof workers were not daunted, and were able to finish a significant portion.

Finished with one side!

Turning the corner . . .

The second side, completed.

And for the floor...
A model of the piping layout for the heated zendo floor by Deston, merging complexity and simplicity.
