The "Infant Jizo" is 2" tall and holds a jewel under its chin. Each Jizo is a unique work of art - designed by Jan Chozen Bays Roshi and cast by her students at Great Vow Zen Monastery. After casting, several stages of hand finishing and glazing follow. Glaze colors and patterns have natural variations and will vary somewhat from the photos.
The statues come in three skin tones (ebony, tan, or white) as well as three glaze colors (green, blue, or cream with red flames) The two Infant Jizos pictured here have white skin and cream with red flames robes. Learn the significance of the robe colors
