Amy Kisei Costenbader

Amy Kisei Costenbader is an ordained monastic at Great Vow, where she has lived since 2010. Kisei is an up and coming teacher in the Zen Community of Oregon. Her practice and teaching have influences from the spontaneity, embodiment and freedom of the Zen koan tradition as well as the heart centered practices of traditional loving kindness and compassion.  Kisei is interested in the confluence of Social Justice and Dharma. She is a mystic at heart who dreams of Planetary Awakening and Collective Liberation. She is interested in somatic practices of embodied compassion, poetry, global healing and dance.
