Healing Oppression with Mindfulness and Love: A Retreat with Arinna Weisman

Tuesday, September 12, 2017 - 5:00 pm to Sunday, September 17, 2017 - 1:00 pm

The Buddha said it is possible to live in peace and happiness in a world often divided by fear, greed and delusion. In this proclamation he also included our own minds, so frequently filled with judgement, blame, obsession, desire, hatred, or confusion.

How do we do it? This retreat will invite us to explore how mindfulness, inquiry and kindness can help us recognize how oppression operates in our own hearts and how to live from greater peace, freedom and happiness.

The cost ($275) covers food and lodging only. In the Buddhist tradition, the teacher offers the teachings freely. Participants are invited to make a donation, in the ancient tradition of supporting retreats and teachers through a practice of dana (generosity). Dana for the teacher and the monastery will be accepted at the retreat.
